CNC TABLE 1.0


Na wat onderzoek was mij duidelijk om staal te graveren m.b.v. een hoge stroom. Nog leuker is het om dit te automatiseren m.b.v. een CNC gestuurde tafel.

Hieronder enkele foto's van de eerste versie.

 

After a bit of research I found a way to engrave steel with the use of high current. Then the idea came to me to make it automatically with the use of a CNC controlled table.

t Uitgevoerd met nieuwere motoren en degelijke drivers heb ik het DOS programma uitgebreid. Een 8 bits PIO op de printerpoort zorgt voor de sturing naar de drivers. Het volgende filmpje laat dit zien.

  

t Using newer motors and needed drivers I enhanced the DOS program. The controlling of the drivers is done by a 8 bits PIO on the printerport. The video below show that configuration.



Het enige benodigde bleek een USB interface te zijn. Na het plezier met de plotter heb ik er ook een gebouwd voor de tafel.   The only needed improvement seemed to be a USB interface. After the fun I had creating it for the Plotter, I made a second one for the table.


t Na al deze verbeteringen ben ik me gaan bezighouden met de mogelijkheid om met plastic, objecten te printen. Dit resulteerde in onderstaande filmpjes.
